Belfast band Male Caucasians were Pat Cunningham guitar , Aidan McCrory guitar, Davy Watson bass and Eamon Vernon drums.

The band issued two singles in their two year existence. Both records were issued in 1980 on the Dublin based label Scoff Records. Their first was a split single with the band Stepaside entitled ‘Scoff At The Sportsman’s’. The Male Caucasians track being ‘Fall Out’ (Live). Their second single was ‘For The Night’ c/w ‘The Prisoner’.

The Scoff label was founded in 1978 by Deke O'Brien and Johnny Lappin, who also managed Stepaside (who later started Sidestep records). The label focused on Dublin rock groups including The Atrix, Mama's Boys and the Rhythm Kings among others. They finally went out of business in the mid 1980’s.

The Male Caucasians gigged all over Ireland. From Belfast to Dublin and Donegal to Wexford until they finally split and went out of business too!
